The Gorbie is the heaviest ship in the game, and the main warship of the Evil Empire fleet.

In Standard at Planets.nu, the Gorbie has received some buffs that improve its performance. These are:

The Galactic Power ability, which causes it to always fight from the left-hand side in combat. This gives it a very powerful advantage against other carriers, making the Gorbie the strongest carrier in the game.
Starbase Fighter Transfer, which allows fighters to be transported up to 200 ly to and from starbases, or to and from other ships with the SFT ability (i.e. the Gorbie and the H-Ross).

Its disadvantages are its somewhat high mineral cost and its somewhat small cargo of 250 fighters (compare to the 320 kt of the Biocide).
