Overview
Rebel Ground attack is an offensive tactic used by The Rebel Confederation. To destroy enemy happiness, planetary Structures and Resources on targeted planets.
Mission Restrictions
The Rebel Ground attack is a Ship Mission provided to ships currently under Rebel control, even ships with no beams. As with most other missions, ships performing this mission must have at least 1 kt of fuel on board, although none is consumed when performing the mission.
Mission Operaton
- Primary Enemy : None - or any other race except the target planet race - to Avoid Planetary Attack.
- Ship Mission: Rebel Ground Attack - To Engage the mission
- Navigation: to target planet
The mission itself does not make the ship immune to planetary ATT/NUK. The Rebels have Planet Immunity anyway (which cannot be disabled in campaign mode), but if there was a situation where you would be playing without Planet Immunty, this is something to watch out for.
Damages to target Planet
- 30% of the Megacredits will be destroyed
- 40% of the supplies will be destroyed
- 20% of the colonists will be killed
- 20% of the defense outposts will be destroyed
- 60% of the mineral mines will be destroyed
- 30% of the factories will be destroyed
- The colonists Happiness levels will drop by 60
- Native happiness increases by 30 (this can be used as a clue to determine whether the planet has natives or not)
