Beginner Mode

Two new beginner modes were announced at Planets.nu in 2018. They are simplified versions of Planets that are intended to help ease new players into the game.

Details

  • Beginner mode

No Fuel, No Supplies, No Ammo, No Minefields, No Warp Wells, combat complexity (left/right) and other FC features removed and Individual Ship Limits (PLS).

  • Intermediate mode

No Fuel, Individual Ship Limits.

As of October 2018, single player levels on Planets.nu use the beginner mode rules.
