Cloaking is a mission that allows a ship to be hidden from the enemy at the cost of extra fuel.

Statistics

Cloaking will fail approximately 1% of the time; in VGA Planets Nu, this gives a message stating that there has been an engine room failure.
Ships weighing more than 100kt will burn floor((hull mass / 100) * 5) additional fuel per turn of cloaking
Ships weighing less than 100kt will burn the minimum 5kt of extra fuel per turn
