Description
The Merlin Class Alchemy Ship produces 1kt of Duranium, Tritanium or Molybdenum for the cost of 3kt supplies each. The Merlin Class can be the economic backbone of already exploited planetary clusters and usually is found close to important star-bases and bovinoid planets. In combat it is fairly tough to destroy, although it can only be equipped with 8 beam weapons. Its gigantic cargo hold (the largest of all ships) can be used for the evacuation of colonist from important planets, if the necessary amount of fuel is at hand.
