As of 2025 at Planets.nu, the H-Ross now has the Fighter Transfer which EE starbases and the Gorbie already had. This ability does not apply in Classic games.

The Fighter Transfer ability allows it to be useful as a logistics ship to keep fighters available to smaller carriers at the front line.
