question regarding hyperspacejumps, i get confused because i play both vgap4 and vgap3
when hyperjumping in vgap3 do you end up at the end of the max range of hyperjump distance regardless how far u set the waypoint indicator? for example: the falcon hyperjump ring indicates a circle of 350 lyrs. but i only want to hit a planet at 302 lyrs. will i end up at the planet? or 38 lyrs beyond? additionally does warp movement occur after the hyper jump or before? or notall during hyperjumps? thanks for your answers in advance. will write the wiki page on this once i know the facts. --Protomatter 19:47, 16 June 2012 (UTC) | when hyperjumping in vgap3 do you end up at the end of the max range of hyperjump distance regardless how far u set the waypoint indicator? for example: the falcon hyperjump ring indicates a circle of 350 lyrs. but i only want to hit a planet at 302 lyrs. will i end up at the planet? or 38 lyrs beyond? additionally does warp movement occur after the hyper jump or before? or notall during hyperjumps? thanks for your answers in advance. will write the wiki page on this once i know the facts. --Protomatter 19:47, 16 June 2012 (UTC)

Hey, CSY - you've done a lot of edits to this wiki, I could use someone to help patrol for spammers and whatnot. Do you mind helping out with admin work? --rbos
Hello rbos, I've previously had experience with administrating another wiki. Therefore, I know how some of the sysop powers work, and would be glad to oversee the wiki's growth. --CSY
Cool, thanks. Let me know if there's any policy decisions to discuss. --rbos
E-mail requirement
hey, I set it to require a confirmed email address. Sucks, but maybe it'll help. Sorry I haven't been around much lately, Skyrim. :P --rbos
It may take a while before we get long-term effects. --CSY 23:12, 10 December 2011 (UTC)
Enabled FancyCaptcha instead of the broken one that wasn't even properly enabled. Not sure what I was smoking. Currently enabled for sysops too for testing. --rbos
So far, so good. Hopefully we'll see less spam. I just tested a link to Planets 4 in the Sandbox, with minor troubles. --CSY 09:15, 11 December 2011 (UTC)
Also. Is it necessary to use the CAPTCHA on every edit? I normally see this tactic used when new external links are made. --CSY 09:20, 11 December 2011 (UTC)
Thanks for the signing tip. Also, I've set it to require captcha on create page, edits that add URL, createaccount, and badlogin. --Rbos 18:12, 11 December 2011 (UTC)
If this doesn't work, I'll put in some extra effort and implement Question captcha, which lets me define custom questions, like "What is the solution to two plus two?", or "Type the word 'four'." --Rbos 18:14, 11 December 2011 (UTC)
Definite improvement so far. -173.180.198.152 00:50, 14 December 2011 (UTC)
Looks like you ultimately closed down the problem, at least for a good long while. Great job, rbos. --CSY 23:36, 17 December 2011 (UTC)
The new tactics may not be stopping accounts from being created, but I'm only occasionnally seeing a spam page now and then. --CSY 04:25, 27 December 2011 (UTC)
Restricted anonymous edits. The vast majority are spam. -Rbos 17:58, 26 February 2012 (UTC)
