=Role in the Lizard fleet=
The Eros Class Research Vessel is the lightest armed ship in the Lizard fleet and due to it's low mineral costs often the most built ship to perform the Hisss-Mission. It is not made for fighting, but with nearly no fuel consumption for itself quite a good ship to tow larger ships that have bad engines installed.
