Origin

The Diplomacy Class Cruiser is a ship out of the Star Trek universe. In Star Trek it is called the Defiant Class Escort, which is what the USS Defiant was in Deep Space 9. It is one of the few Federation dedicated warships of the late 24th Century. [1]

Comments

The Diplomacy is a slightly weaker warship than the Missouri Class Battleship, but it requires fewer minerals to build, is lighter, and carries more fuel. This ship should be fielded situationally, but with a decent amount of beams and an okay cargo capacity it can function as a mine-layer and minesweeper for a fleet while Missouri's, Kittyhawks, and Nova's conduct the brunt of the fighting.
